Abstract
This study was conducted with the aim of sociologically investigating the way humans behave on the natural environment and investigating environmental challenges, how the environment affects the society and how the society affects the environment. In this article, while explaining the theories of macro and micro sociology in relation to the environment, the topics of environmental sociology include: water problem, drought, climate change, global warming, air problem, change of consumption pattern, science of genetic engineering as a challenge. environmental issues and especially in relation to Iran's environment have been investigated.
