Journal of Social Communication Sociology

Journal of Social Communication Sociology is a scientific quarterly published in the field of Communication Sciences, Public Relations, and Media.

Attention to the following general points before deciding to submit an article is mandatory:

1. Originality: Articles submitted to the Journal of Social Communication Sociology must not have been previously published in another medium (journal, conference, book, etc.) nor be simultaneously submitted for peer-review to another journal.

2. Author Publication Limit: In accordance with the Regulations for Scientific Journals of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology (MSRT) (approved May 2019), this journal can only publish two articles per author per year: one as the corresponding author and another as a co-author.

3. Peer-Review Process:

   • The review process is completely confidential.

   • Each article is evaluated by at least two expert reviewers in the subject area of the article.

   • Ultimately, two positive reviews and the approval of the Editorial Board are necessary for publication.

   • The duration of the acceptance process (from receipt to final acceptance) is at least 2 months.

4. Author Responsibility: The responsibility for the content of the articles lies with the author(s), and the work must be the result of their own research.

5. Ethical Violations: In case of violation of the conditions outlined in the style guide, etc., by the author(s), no further articles from them will be accepted.

6. Acceptance Certificate: Issuance of the article acceptance certificate will occur after the approval of the Executive Manager and payment of publication fees. The stages of article acceptance can be viewed in the "Article Acceptance Process" section in the "Journal Information" tab.

7. Initial Decision: The journal will announce the initial acceptance or rejection within 10 working days from the receipt of the article, the mentioned forms, and the Samim Noor (similarity check) certificate.

8. Transparency: The review and acceptance of articles can be viewed in the journal's submission system.

9. Priority of Publication: The decision regarding the priority and order of publication of articles approved by the reviewers rests with the Editor-in-Chief.

10. Editorial Rights: The journal is free to accept, reject, or edit the content of the article. Submitted articles will not be returned.

11. Submission Method: Articles must be submitted exclusively through the journal's website. Articles sent via email or in print will not be processed.
