Aims and Scope

The Journal of Social Communication Sociology is published quarterly with the aim of developing and strengthening scientific relationships among researchers in the country, as well as expanding and disseminating new research findings related to the fields of Communication Sciences (Public Relations and Media) and other related topics with a sociological approach. Its objectives are as follows:

  • To develop interdisciplinary interaction among researchers in the fields of Humanities, Social Sciences, Economics, Management, etc.

  • To achieve indigenous theoretical foundations and institutionalize research in the field of Communication Studies as one of the cornerstones of balanced and sustainable development.

  • To realize up-to-date and efficient knowledge in the thematic and specialized areas of the journal.

  • To improve the quality level of the journal by increasing the quality of articles, including competent specialists in the reviewer committee and authorship, and securing membership in international databases.

  • To achieve membership in national specialized bodies, such as the country's scientific-research journals.

  • To obtain an "A" grade scientific-research ranking from the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology (MSRT).

  • To obtain a Q-rating (Quartile) from the ISC (Islamic World Science Citation Center) .

  • To introduce the journal in international arenas, such as ISI (Clarivate Analytics) .
