Abstract
Examining the impact of electronic media on intellectual property rights and the possibility of protecting these rights in cyberspace raises fundamental questions: What influence does electronic media have on rights related to intellectual property? Additionally, other questions arise, such as whether the traditional system of protecting intellectual property can be extended to violations of these rights on the internet. What strategies do national and international legal systems offer for the protection of these rights? Utilizing descriptive and analytical methods along with library research tools, the findings indicate that the issue of intellectual property rights violations in electronic media has gained increasing importance. The emergence of electronic media has revolutionized the dissemination of information. Due to the replacement of electronic works with traditional forms of printing and publishing, the possibilities for reproduction, copying, adaptation, and widespread dissemination of information have significantly increased. The internet has made it challenging to identify instances of intellectual property violations, as these infringements are often perpetrated by individuals who cannot be identified.
