Abstract
Language, as a fundamental and complex instrument of human communication, plays an indispensable role in shaping cognitive frameworks, expanding mental constructs, and fostering social interactions. This article adopts an analytical and multidimensional perspective to explore the role of language within social communications, with a particular focus on its applications in public relations. Interpersonal communication achieves greater effectiveness when language is understood not merely as a vehicle for message transmission but as a meaning-maker and a crucial factor in the construction of social identity. Through a review of theoretical literature, this study elucidates that language transcends its communicative function to perform a structural role in shaping perceptions, attitudes, and human interactions. The findings highlight that linguistic proficiency, cultural sensitivity, and skills in message expression and comprehension directly influence the quality of micro-level communications and the efficacy of public relations practices. Practical recommendations are proposed to enhance communication processes in personal and organizational contexts by emphasizing language education, cultural awareness, and an understanding of the semantic dimensions of language.
