Abstract
In this research, the semantic structure of Zayandeh Rood drought crisis has been investigated through the lived experience of Isfahani, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari farmers. The research method of the current study was qualitative and the sampling method was based on homogenous purposeful sampling. Based on this, two groups of farmers from Esfahani (10 people) and Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari (10 people) were interviewed and during the in-depth semi-structured interview, they fully expressed their lived experience regarding the lack of water and drought in Zayandeh Rood. In data analysis, a qualitative method of phenomenological type was used, and to determine the validity of the findings, the criteria of credibility, reliability and compliance with objectivity were used. The findings show that Zayandeh Rood has an important role in providing drinking water, industry and agriculture in the central regions, so that many central provinces use the Zayandeh Rood River. But with its drying up and the watershed problems at its source, it will cause economic, social and cultural problems for neighboring provinces. Is.
